Welcome Home!!

This was another episode in my cake class. We had to use what we learned to make a cake. My mom had been in Cabo all weekend so i made her a welcome home cake. She was impressed and loved that I thought of her.

Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes

Ice cream cone cupcakes are a classic treat. You simply bake them in a cone. but make sure you keep them upright because they will tip. These were very yummy, and for my little sisters birthday. She loved them even though they were squished.

Cinnamon Roll Cupcakes

These cupcakes were my personal creation. We started with a white cake and added cinnamon and nutmeg. I made some rich, creamy, cream cheese frosting and sprinkled some cinnamon on top. Sometimes its the simplest things that taste soooo good!

Gran's Birthday

These cupcakes were for my great-grandmothers birthday. We were inspired by Whats New Cupcake, which featured blueberry, and cherry pies. I made a batch of chocolate frosting. We made cherry, blueberry, and apple, which were made of mms. I also made pecan, pumpkin, and chocolate cream out of pecans, orange sugar, and chocolate peanuts and whipped cream. Everyone enjoyed them and they tasted great!

Cake Class

I have been taking a cake class to learn some cool piping. I used piping gel to do a pattern transfer. This makes it easier, because you have an outline to go by. I used Wilton tip #12 and some swirls, lines, and borders. I enjoyed it and definetly learned plenty.

Bailey's First Birthday

This cake was for Bailey, a friend of mine, who recently turned one. It was a simple two-tiered pink cake with butterflies everywhere. For the fondant we used pink marshmellows and didnt add a drop of food coloring to it. The butterflies were extremely difficult to cut so most of them I piped. The cupcake at the top was hers to smash and it was adorable!

An Artist's Dessert

These cupcakes were adorable! I made some frosting and did some pretty icing swirls. On some of them we melted chocolate and splattered it then made some paintbrushes to go along with it. They were for an art party and were a big hit!
